Takezumi Kikuchi

Background

Takezumi Kikuchi was born in Japan. He was the 14th son of Taketoki Kikuchi.

Career

Takezumi Kikuchi served Prince Kanenaga. Distinguished himself by capturing Tahira Castle (1354) and the following year he and his brother, Takemitsu, defeated the Shorn and Shiba clans to march into Hakata by way of Buzen and Bungo (Oita Prefecture). Again showed his prowess on the battlefield when he drove back the army of Noriuji Isshiki to Nagato (Yamaguchi Prefecture).
