Takichi Aso was born in 1857.

Career

He started a coal mining enterprise with his father (1872).He was subsequently president of the Kyushu Hydroelectric Company and a director of other electric companies subsequently.

Achievements

• Established the Yoshiho Electric Light Company and became its president. Established the Aso Shoten Company which dealt in coal (1886).

Membership

Was a member of the House of Representatives and then the House of Peers.
