Toshiyuki Kurotsu became appointed assistant professor in 1931. He received his M.D. in 1932 and then in 1933 continued his studies in Holland. After returning to Japan, he became professor of Osaka Medical College in 1935 and Dean of the Medical Department. Toshiyuki Kurotsu went to Holland and delivered a special address at the 55th Japan Anatomy Society meeting on the subject (1950).
