In 1968 Yuri Alekseevich graduated from the philological faculty of Moscow State University.
Since 1970 Yuri Alekseevich has been working at the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology of Voronezh State University. Head of the Department of Romance Philology (since 1985). He is the author of over 100 scientific works, including 7 monographs: "Syntactic relations of words in the Spanish sentence" (Voronezh, 1985; translated into Spanish, Leon, 1989), "Essays on Roman anthroponymy" (Voronezh, 2000), "Aspects of the language picture World: Italian and Russian" (Voronezh, 2003) and others.
