Alexander Ivanovich Pokrovsky graduated from the Secondary Special Music School at the Moscow Conservatory (1966), the Gorky Conservatory (1971), and the executive graduate courses (1977, the Gorky Conservatory).
Career
Artist of the Voronezh Symphony Orchestra (1971-1976, 1987-2001). At the same time, he has been a lecturer at the Voronezh State Institute of Arts / Voronezh State Academy of Arts (since 1974), the Voronezh Music College (since 1975), and the Voronezh College of Music (since 1985). Since 2001 lives in Moscow. Actor of the New Russia orchestra, at the same time a lecturer of the Gnessins Children's Music School (since 2003).
