In 1966, Alexander Samuilovich graduated from the classical department of the Faculty of Philology of the Leningrad State University (now Saint Petersburg State University).
Alexander Samuilovich was a Head of the literary part of the Voronezh Young Spectators' Theater (1966-1968). Then he became a lecturer at the Department of Ancient History of the Voronezh State University (1968-1971). After that Alexander Samuilovich was a lecturer at the Department of General Linguistics of the Kalinin State University (1972-1979) and then a lecturer at the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens of the Voronezh State University (1980-1982).
Alexander Samuilovich was a senior bibliographer of the Scientific (Area) Library of the Voronezh State University (1983-1985). Also he was a Latin teacher at the Voronezh State Medical Institute (1986-1989). Since 1989 he has been working at the Department of Literature of the Voronezh State Pedagogical University.
Since 1996, Alexander Samuilovich was an event planner and head of the scientific event "Eichenbaum readings". Since 1968, he was published in the magazine "Rise", "Neva", "Herald of ancient history" and other publications. He is the author of more than 100 scientific and literary works, including the monograph "The Chronicle of the First Century" (Voronezh, 1997).
