Background

Daizaburo was born in 1878, in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.

Was an authority on Japanese grammar, for which he has conferred a doctorate, Litt.D.

Founded the Nikka Gakuin (Sino-Japanese College) for educating Chinese students in Japan.
