Education

Cespedes received a B.A. from City College of New York in 1972. Then he gained a Doctor of Philosophy from Cornell University in 1977. In 1983 he received a Master of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Career

Cespedes worked as a professor of business administration and leader of Strategic Marketing Management Program at Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts, United States between 1978 and 1995. He has been a managing partner at The Center for Executive Development, Cambridge, Massachusetts, since 1995. He is currently a consultant to companies in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
