Graduated from Magnitogorsk Handicraft School No. 13, where he danced (since 1942) in an amateur song and dance under the direction of N.N. Kartashovoy (later at the House of Culture of Metallurgists). He graduated from the music school.
Dancer and choreographer of the Voronezh State Academic Russian Folk Choir named after K.I. Massalitinov (late 1940's - early 1950's). Among the main productions: "On the collective farm holiday," "The Siberian pole," "The goose went out for a walk," "Belolitsa-krugolitsa," and others.
