After attending Shoheiko (Shogunate’s college) began studying the doctrines of Chutze (Chinese philosophy).
Career
Later was employed by Lord of Kakegawa (Shizuoka Prefecture) and was commissioned by the Skogunate to prepare a list of books for printing. He died while in the midst of reprinting Gokyochuso (com¬ments on five Chinese classics).
