Oleg Mikhailovich graduated from Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov (1953, poster workshop of M.M. Cheremnykh and N.A. Ponomarev).
Oleg Mikhailovich is the author of portraits, landscapes, still lifes created in the 1970-1980s, united in the series: "People of Karelia", "Karelia", "Finland", "Land of Kashirskaya", "Residents of Tolbin", as well as socio-political, environmental, theatrical posters. Solo exhibitions of Savostyuk were held in many cities of Russia and abroad.
In 1985, 1997, 2009, Oleg Mikhailovich attended the opening of his personal exhibitions in the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy and exhibition hall of the Union of Artists. Over the past few years, ру has been the chairman of the state examination commission at the Voronezh Art College.
Oleg Mikhailovich presented at the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum, Penza Art Gallery named after K.A. Savitsky and other museums. In 2009, he transferred one of his paintings to the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy.
