From 1928 associate professor, Chair of Party History, Ural Communist University and senior associate, Commission for the Study of Party History, Ural Oblast All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Committee, from 1932 lectured on Party history at Moscow Institute of Soviet Construction and Law and at Communist Institute of Journalism. 1934-1940 head, Polit Department, “Uralets” Sovkhoz. Then exec Party work. Also lectured at Chelyabinsk Teachers’ Training Institute. 1940-1941 section head, Institute of Marx-Engels-Lcnin and lecturer, Higher Party School, Central Committee, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). From 1941 volunteer with Soviet Army at the front, then political work. 1949-1952 member, editorial board, newspaper “Pravda” and lecturer. Higher Party School and Academy of Social Sciences, Central Committee, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). 1952-1961 head, Department of Party History, Higher Party School, Central Committee, Communist Party of the Soviet Union. 1961-1962 at Institute of Marxism-Leninism, Central Committee, Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Directed team compiling volume 1 of multi-volume “Istoriya KPSS” (History of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union).
