Svetlana Ivanovna graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in 1982 in the class of professor Z.A. Ignatieva and also completed a postgraduate course at the Moscow Conservatory in 1986 in the class of professor D.A. Bashkirov.
Svetlana Ivanovna started to work as a teacher at Voronezh State Academy of Arts in 1982. Since 1997 at the same time she worked at Voronezh Secondary School of Music "College of Music" which is also known as Voronezh College of Music. There are laureates and diploma winners of the all-Russian youth competitions such as Y. Pashnyak, I. Tsekalova, A. Selivanova, S. Voronova and others among her students.
Svetlana Ivanovna performed at the concerts in Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Italy. In the period from 2005 to 2008, she lived in the city of Daegu, South Corea. Her essays include "Methodological Recommendations for Learning Piano Cycle "Watercolors" by A.Ukrainsky" (published in Voronezh in 2000), "Guidelines for Learning Piano Suite "Pictures Based on Andersen's Tales" by S. Volkov" (published in Voronezh in 2000).
