Svetlana Nikolaevna was a literary employee of the newspaper Young Communard (1959-1962; pseudonym S. Nikolaev). She was a lecturer od the Department of Russian and Foreign Literature of the Voronezh State University (1962-1966).
Since 1969 has been a lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor, head (since 1990) of the Department of Foreign Literature of Voronezh State University. He studies modern English literature.
Svetlana Nikolaevna has been a member of the European Association of Anglists. She printed poems in local periodicals and collective collections (since 1950).
Svetlana Nikolaevna was published in the almanac Literary Voronezh (since 1951), the magazines Podem, Children's Literature, Russian Literature, and the Literary Newspaper. She participated in the preparation of the 6-volume collected works of the English novelist G. Green (Moscow, 1992-1996).
