Tamara Zhdanova worked as a teacher and the head of the conductor-choir department of the musical school (Yelets town, Lipetsk region, 1969-1972).
Since 1972 she was a teacher and later the head of the choir-conductor department (since 1994) of the Voronezh Music College named after Rostropovich.
