In 1945 Yuri Mikhailovich graduated from the medical faculty of the Voronezh State Medical Institute.
Career
Yuri Mikhailovich participated in the Great Patriotic War. In 1951-1965 he was a resident, assistant of the Department of Hospital Therapy, then head of the Department of Faculty Therapy (1965-1972), Hospital Therapy (1972-1991) of the Voronezh State Medical Institute. Chairman of the Board of the Voronezh Regional Society of Physicians.

Yuri Mikhailovich is the author of more than 230 works on diagnostics, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases, blood diseases including such books as Microelements in hematology and cardiology (Voronezh, 1965), Quantitative spatial vector electrocardiography (Voronezh, 1968), Microelements in the clinic of internal diseases (Voronezh, 1973),Atlas of practical electrocardiography (Voronezh, 1983).
